Latinas On The Lane is a community in Louisiana, created to build genuine connections through activities designed for making friends and breaking out of the routine.
Meet Penny
Penélope Vega Yates is a bilingual content creator from Mexico City, currently based in New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
She holds a degree in Communications from UDLA and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media.
She is also a business owner in Mexico, where she has worked on the industry side, collaborating with content creators.
She has partnered with over 50 businesses between Mexico and the U.S.
She is the founder of Latinas On The Lane, her community of almost 100 women that live all over Louisiana, for whom she organizes dinners, classes, meetups and different events every month.
One of her biggest passions is to travel internationally; frequently between the U.S. and Mexico City, to visit friends and family.
Her content focuses on unique experiences including travel, restaurants, bars and hotels, across the U.S. and Mexico.
She is currently involved as a special host in Miss Latina Reality Show.
Oh, and also, she’s obsessed with her cats: Rafita (siamese) and Rufus (an ex-homeless kitty).
